I’ve got some very exciting news!
The second-largest conservative organization in the USA The National Federation of Republican Assemblies now has a charter in South East Georgia! It is my pleasure to introduce the Southeast Georgia Republican Assembly (SEGRA) fka (South East Georgia Republican Alliance). Our new organizational charter includes 6 of the northern counties of Georgia’s First Congressional District: Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, Bryan, Long, and McIntosh counties.
Unlike other Republican clubs and organizations in our area, SEGRA is organized as an IRS 527 type organization. What that means is that our mission is to influence the selection, nomination, election, appointment, or defeat of candidates to federal, state, or local public office or office in a political organization. We also engage in legislative advocacy, issue advocacy, and voter mobilization.
It’s been just over a year since our founding and we’ve taken action and made a big impact on the following:
We are all about action and our efforts have not gone unnoticed.
I am pleased to announce that the Georgia Republican Assembly (GRA) asked us to join them. The GRA is part of the second-largest Republican organization in the country: The National Federation of Republican Assemblies. Our name has changed slightly to Southeast Georgia Republican Assembly.
This means we not only continue to represent Chatham County Republicans, but we also now represent Republicans in Bryan, Effingham, Liberty, Long, and McIntosh counties.
As the Biden Administration continues down its path of programs and policies that are destructive to our country, the list of issues grows:
- Inflation
- Supply Shortages
- Energy Crisis
- Border crisis
- CRT
- Pornography in our schools
- Lack of security in our elections
- Government spending/increased taxes
- Loss of liberty/criminalization of dissent
- Soaring crime rates/defunding the police.
Our fight is a marathon, not a sprint. We will keep you informed; we will give you the opportunity to fight alongside us; we will help you if you choose to run for office.
